New Club Starting In Lincoln
by Jaypeedee » Tue Jan 19, 2010 6:24 pm
I'm hoping to start a new club in Lincoln. If you know of anyone who might be interested, please do put them in touch with me. The club's inaugural meeting and playing session is set for Wednesday 3rd March at 7.30pm. The venue will be finalised nearer the time when I have a clearer indication of numbers likely to attend. You'll find my contact details on the club's new website at http://www.lincolnflickers.net/Lincoln% ... /index.htm.
First played in 1968 and still as crap as I was back then.

My old hometown...best of luck with this John and you may well see Sam and I there. I had the odd drink or two in the morning Star when I briefly lived up on the Ermine.

Our first meeting took place at the Morning Star on Wed 3rd March with 5 people in attendance. I've also had contact with a couple of others who are definitely interested but were unable, for one reason or another, to make the first meeting. Henceforward meetings will be held at 7.30pm on the first Wed of each month, initially at the Morning Star, but we may need to look for a larger venue if nos. increase. Please let anyone you know who you think might be interested know about the club. More details at http://www.lincolnflickers.net/Lincoln%20Flickers/.

I still have to confirm with the pub but that's definitely the likely date.

Yeah there's not enough drunk women playing subbuteo for my liking, especially on the national circuit.
Flick to kick.
